Parent-Initiated Sport

Parent-Initiated Sport

The primary aim of parent-initiated sport is to enable all students to have the opportunity to participate.

St Thomas School coordinates Parent Initiated Sporting teams in:

  • soccer
  • netball
  • cricket
  • AFL Auskick

These sports are driven by parent volunteers who adopt roles in coaching, assistant coaching, umpiring, scoring etc. This provides an avenue of physical and social development for the students, and is fantastic in involving member of our parish school community in a social setting.

Parent volunteers are always welcome and should contact Mr. Priest tpriest@stg.cathoilc.edu.au should they wish to be involved.

All volunteers require a Catholic Police Clearance, complete the Responding to Abuse and Neglect online course and complete a Volunteers Induction.
