Our Resource Centre and Library
The Resource Centre/Library is an integral part of our students' learning.
It provides a wide opportunity for students to broaden their knowledge and skills. Students are able to select books both for their own personal enjoyment, to assist their research and enhance their learning.
The Teacher-Librarian provides explicit lessons for classes so they are able to utilise the library efficiently, they work closely with the class teacher to cater for the information literacy skills needed by all students.
All students have the opportunity to borrow up to four books at any one time.
Our Tuck Shop
St Thomas School has a Tuck Shop which is open at lunch times Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. We outsource lunch orders using Rory's School Lunches, who offer a diverse, fresh and healthy menu. They operate from our Tuckshop, so we still appreciate volunteers to help distribute lunches and sell ice blocks and snacks. All lunch order purchases are to be made using the QKR App BY 8.30am, while lunchtime snack purchases can be made with cash.

Getting involved
As a new parent it is a great way to meet other people plus your child/children love seeing you behind the counter! If you want to help out on a regular or casual basis, please fill in an Application Form available at the Front Office (or downloadable below) and return to the Front Office.
Rosters and Volunteers Routine are distributed each term and current Catholic Education Police Check is essential.
Tuck Shop - Volunteer Form
