Language (Italian)

Learning a second language will enable students to become more aware of another culture.

In our school we offer language opportunities for our students, enriching their cultural awareness. Reception to Year 7 students learn Italian, which is taught using the communicative approach, encouraging students to communicate with each other and the teacher in situations, which are meaningful to them.

The students integrate the four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing and they not only learn the languages but will be exposed to other cultural aspects as well.
